Good things comes in small packages, especially when those small packages are gold and emblazoned with the letters YSL. A courier dropped off this little gold package to me last week and I squealed with delight.

This palette is from Yves Saint Laurent’s Autumn/Winter collection for this year, and it is something to behold. Given that these are described as wet or dry eyeshadows, I’ve used them both ways. Used dry, these are perfect for that polished daywear look we’re all after.

By wetting your shadow brush before applying really makes these colours take on a new life. I’ve worn the navy on a night out under sparkly blue and loved it.
