Olivia Palermo- Style Stalker

This post by Áine…

Olivia Palermo, a lady who knows how to accesorise, and how to pair trends, separates and quirky pieces. She never looks too ‘lookbook’ or as though she has slavishly copied the catwalk.

Always slightly preppy, a little hint of Jackie Kennedy, meets French chic- she rarely gets it wrong. Time and time again this socialite, turned junior stylist, turned accessories designer and Mango ambassador works great looks.

Here are some of my favourites:

1. Jeans, shoes and blazer are all so simple, clean cut and all from Topshop!

The Hermes birkin is funnily enough understated (not a huge Victoria Beckham ostrich skin for our Olivia) perfect for a casual work look or night out.

Olivia likes Topshop, hurray!

2. No camel toe for Olivia in perfect wet look leggings, great statement neck-piece (she designed a great, but rather pricey range) simple black peep-toes and her blazer.

She uses the same key pieces- the blazer, the bag over and over but in interesting ways. A crazy pink floral clutch she sported several times this year providing a colour pop to neutrals, would be an example.

Her hair is always, always immaculate- has she got a Kate Middleton type hairdresser on demand?!

Amazing wet look leggings

3. Check her out in breton tee, silver men’s brogues and oversized bag- not practical for most everyday situations but very pretty!

Silver brogues, seriously cool

4. And finally- perfect wide-legged, high waisted trousers, silk tee and her usual statement necklace.

beautiful colour palette

If she learns to be a nice person, she’d be perfect! Who wouldn’t love a peep in her wardrobe or her to style you for the day?

So Olivia Palermo- fashion plate or four star ice queen?
