Salon/Service Review: Elemis Facial

This by Áine….

Who doesn’t love a bit of pampering and desire perfect skin? In the nonstop quest for clear, healthy skin I went for an Elemis skin specific recently.
I love the smell of Elemis products and already use their body creams and shower gel, so was really looking forward to a bit of pamper time. My skin is in quite good condition at the moment, surprisingly, but has a few blemishes, and since it has been 6 months since I had a facial it was long overdue.

Elemis Facial

The treatment started with a foot and lower leg massage , then a double cleanse with melting cleansing gel and the balancing lime blossom cleanser, which smells divine.

There was an exfoliation with elemis skin buff, which had a rose scent, then a mask, which was the herbal lavender repair. After that, a massage with a mix of elemis essential oils, and a shoulder and neck massage- bliss.

The therapist finished the treatment with pro collagen moisture cream. My facial lasted an hour, and cost 60 euro. I really enjoyed it and found it so relaxing. The therapist said my skin is a little dry, which probably means more water and less central heating for me, and more moisturiser. The only part missing from the facial was focus on blemishes(i.e removal!) but perhaps look to Dermalogica or Danné for somthing more focused on that.

Have any of you tried Elemis facials or used their facial skincare? Also, when I was in, I spotted all the fab Elemis sets for the festive season-they look fabulous, with facial ones, and body products.
